2. He didn't actually say "ass", but of course that is the word he meant
ARLINGTON, Va. — Republican John McCain vowed Sunday to "whip" Democratic rival Barack Obama's "you-know-what" when the two presidential candidates meet Wednesday in their final televised debate.

4. McCain had better bring a pretty big whip. Domestic policy doesn't seem to be his 'cuppa' n/t

3. Obama would not be allowed to do 1/2 the sh*t McRude is doing.
Obama is held to a much higher standard, in every way. Michelle is, too. Can you imagine if she had given the enraged speech the Pill-poppin' $300K-dressing Heiress just gave?

Obama is our Jackie Robinson. Heaven only knows what must be going on in his head & heart. But he can never, ever show it. Not until way after all this is over. I don't know if he has it in him to be really enraged. He has shown no sign of it whatsoever. Years after all he went through, Jackie Robinson did get to speak his mind. And he was still a gentleman about it. It takes a truly remarkable person to fight with such courage and dignity.

6. Carter said the exact same thing about EMK
Edited on Mon Oct-13-08 12:48 AM by Pigwidgeon
In response to a question about how he'd fare in the primary against Teddy Kennedy, he said, famously, "I'll whip his ass".

The Republic survived.

7. I don't think it's a fair comparison because of the rascist factor
I hate the fact that we have so many racists in our country, but if Obama said this it would not be the same as Carter/Kennedy (IMO). I believe Rush and O'Reilly, etc. would go ballistic!
