4. This is exactly their true nature. This race-hating, fear-mongering, violence inciting crew will
destroy this country. Even with Obama in the White House, we'll be forced to endure this sickness for eight solid years. It will be never-ending, and right now, they're being encouraged by McCain/Palin.

6. A good opportunity to whip out the handy Evo Psych Bingo Card
This is in response to tools like Derbyshire who use junk science to justify sexism and male privilege but I'm sure one could be made up about racism too.

7. science indicates...
Edited on Thu Oct-09-08 12:49 AM by Poseidan
What could be more amusing than religious people ('conservatives'), lecturing on science. Actual science clearly dictates white's are inferior, as are all in-bred races. Mixed-race people are clearly 'superior', as they are free from the birth defects resultant from in-breeding (white with white is in-breeding).

Thanks for your ridiculous assertion that has no basis in fact.

10. It's so twisted that a person with a limited education might
think this has validity. This kind of junk and propaganda should be considered a type of fraud.

This is malicious nonsense. It interferes with an truthfully informed electorate and should be illegal.

14. "Sarah Palin is the most libertarian candidate to run since the Reagan administration "

You mean that socialist governor from that red-state-welfare-queen state, Alaska? - fourth highest in federal aid versus federal taxes paid - Alaska? You mean the socialist who raised taxes on oil companies to give cash to residents so they can pay their heating bills? That socialist? She could make Hugo Chavez blush.

16. oh what the f***
Isn't it McCain whining about the planetarium "overhead" projector as nonsense? And Palin believes in a 6,000 year old earth and that humans walked with the dinosaurs.

All those words to call Obama a Marxist and to quote some dude who wrote: {Marxists} believe that nothing exists in the untrained human mind that cannot be readily channeled to the purposes of the revolutionary socialist state. When faced with the evidence of greater structure, their response has been to declare human nature off limits to further scientific investigation. A few otherwise very able scholars have gone so far as to suggest that merely to talk about the subject is dangerous.

20. This is what passes for conservative intellectualism these days?
Calling Obama a 'cultural marxist?' What does that shit even mean? And the last thing I want is a conservative Christian lecturing about science. What a tool.

21. John Derbyshire - admitted racist
I guess the NR pretty much has to pander to the KKK faction of the GOP these days.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Derbyshire#cite_note-18

Derbyshire has stated: "I am a homophobe, though a mild and tolerant one, and a racist, though an even more mild and tolerant one."<19> He has also stated : "The U.S.A. was born with two race problems: the African Americans and the Native Americans. We struggle with those problems still, and must continue to struggle."<20> Derbyshire's description of himself as "mild and tolerant" has been disputed by a number of other writers. Blogger Andrew Sullivan has called him "Herr Derbyshire"—a slightly veiled Nazi reference<21>—and suggested that Derbyshire's opinions on immigration are the result of his admitted racism.<22> For more on the Sullivan-Derbyshire dispute, see below. Derbyshire is also a strong believer in the genetic origin of the racial gap in IQ and posits this as the cause of economic disparity between the races in the United States.<23> He is influenced<24> by Carleton S. Coon's "great 1965 classic" The Living Races of Man, and admitted to having "never been without a copy since."<25>

23. Shorter John Derbyshire:
"If Obama won't give government money to studies to prove that I'm smarter than he is, then he's an anti-libertarian Nazi who will drive the real scientists out of the country, just like Hitler did".

I'm not kidding - that really is the message of the screed.
