1. Now 785.
They're saying it's a buyers strike. Volitility index is breaking records for being so high.

3. Why would anyone buy stock while the market is crashing?
I'm not buying anything until it hits bottom and Bush is long gone.

8. It's crashing because Bush and the Republicans fucked up our country and the world.

I initially pulled my money out of the market because of another Bush fuckup, Enron.

2. can we have our 700 billion back then?
we can just disperse it among the masses. with that money we can go out and buy what we need. im sure there will be people to sell it to us and make a profit on it.

9. Ya! If only!
I for one would not only like to have MY share of that pie...but I would like to actually GET it. The government has eaten my last 3 tax refunds, and my stimulus check...student loan in default (of course there is no extension for a domestic violence survivor who is working 3 jobs just to get food on the table for 3 kids...nope, NO deference for me)

I really needed all that money too, but I guess I should just stock up on canned food and hope we can burn enough wood in winter.

:scared:

7. I predicted the S&P would be below 1,100 by the end of this year.
Looks like it will be below 1,000 by the end of this day.

I thought all those tax cuts for rich people were supposed to make things, you know, better or something.
