1. Kick that door open.
When he pimps out Moose-ilini to smear Obama with terrorist talk, he should be destroyed.

3. It sounds to me like . . .
Edited on Mon Oct-06-08 07:03 AM by Richard D
Three crashes early in his career led Navy officials to question or fault his judgment. A Times review of his record suggests he was cocky, occasionally cavalier and prone to testing limits.

. . . he might have been a bad pilot rather than "cocky . . . cavalier and prone to testing limits."

6. They Wanna Relive The 60's? OK...Fine...Let's Go There...
I've felt Gramps military record...including POW...was of little merit or consequence to this election. The only exception being is that he supported the same mistakes made in Vietnam over in Iraq. His turning his back on veterans is fair game as he's voted constantly against supporting them yet tries to claim he's one of theirs...or how he "loves" them. What a lying sack of shit.

Of all the "claims" about Gramps military service, I heard Grandma Barracuda claim he was a "leader" in a time of war. OK so how many men did he lead and where? I have a friend who was a Sargent in the Marines during that time...his life wasn't aboard some ship or in some nice, safe airbase, but in the Mekong Delta leading search & destroy raids...seeing many of his men injured or killed. Now there's a REAL leader...not some flyboy who got wreckless and shot down.

The GOOP is obsessed with the 60's. It's their "golden days" as they see all evil of that time...too many rights granted. They want to go back to the Ozzie & Harriet world of the 50's...and think everyone else does as well. Their attacks on Ayers is just a strawman for trying to amp up the racism and "anti-hippie" feeling of that era...and somehow they still think that a majority in this country still care about those days. Hell, more than half the electorate wasn't even alive in 1968, but the GOOP is frozen in time.

10. I'm with you KharmaTrain. Let's talk about McAnus' wartime leadership as a shitty pilot. Let's
talk about what he's done for veterans and what he has NOT done for veterans. Let's ask WHY he had the POW-MIA records sealed even when families of those Americans were trying to find out what happened to them.

He's been lying to further his personal ambitions since he came back from Vietnam. Let the record speak for itself.

8. What a shitty pilot. If he's careless with his life, his planes and his career, what's
he going to do with our country?
