Electoral-vote.com map (338 - 185 Obama with 15 EVs tied)

The election's come down to OHIO, FLORIDA, NORTH CAROLINA, INDIANA, MISSOURI, VIRGINIA, COLORADO and NEVADA.

Let me clarify this map: Dark blue means SOLIDLY OBAMA (Red McCain). Light Blue means TRENDING OBAMA (Red McCain). Blue border means LEANING OBAMA (Red McCain).

With the light and dark blues, Obama stands at 264 EVs
With the light and dark reds, McLame stands at 163 EVs.

I'm optimistic. . .are you?

SENATE MAP

Franken will flip MN later today on the site.

We need Maine (don't know why it's dark red). . .but KY (McConnell's in trouble???), MS, GA, NC, OR and AK seem to be the battlegrounds. I believe the Democrats can take them all. On top of that, the two vulnerable Democrats (Johnson in SD and Landrieu in LA) are solidly coasting to re-election, so we might not lose a seat this year

If that happens (wishful thinking), The majority will be:
61 (counting Sanders) - 38 - 1 (Joe "no party" Lieberman)

Oh, is the Democrats can pull off a sweep.

In the House, we're up 242 - 192 - 1, but the news is heavily Republican seats are trending Democratic.

November's looking interesting!

GOBAMA!!! GOBIDEN!!!!
