Dumb as the kid probably is, I think he's not happy with being in a shotgun wedding (which this more than likely is - a governor of a state can make your life hell if you don't cooperate, and Palin's on the record as screwing people over if she doesn't like them), and I also believe that he might be smart enough to bide his time and try and wait until after November 4, as there's a good chance that a lot of the reason for the family wanting a marriage will have disappeared after McPalin loses.
