2. Some changes have been made

The "levels" were designed to reduce load on the database server. We have a much more powerful database server now, so the levels are actually less effective. Elad has been working to make new changes to reduce stress on the front-end servers, which is why you're seeing missing images and things of that nature.

That doesn't address the problem which caused you to miss DU for the last 45 minutes of the debate, however. That happened because we literally lost power to all of our servers, which sucks. Sorry for the inconvenience.

I should add that we're working to improve our front-end server performance. Our host added a fifth server today, unfortunately this is apparently what caused the power to go out. We'll do our best to make sure this doesn't happen again. We plan to have six front-end servers running by election day.
