From Kerry to Obama (Kerry's money men moving to Obama)
http://thecaucus.blogs.nytimes.com/2007/01/25/from-kerry-to-obama/

Less than 24 hours after Senator John Kerry announced that he would not enter the 2008 presidential race, some of his prominent contributors are joining the camp of Senator Barack Obama.

So far, at least, the list includes: Bob Farmer, who was Mr. Kerry’s chief fundraiser; Mark Gorenberg, Mr. Kerry’s top money man in California; and Alan Solomont, a major fundraiser in New England for Mr. Kerry and a former national finance chairman of the Democratic National Committee.
Orin Kramer, a prominent New York Democratic fundraiser, has also signed on with Mr. Obama.

Mr. Kramer, one of the top Democratic fundraisers in New York, has been a solid supporter of Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton’s Senate campaigns, but he said in an interview that he was attracted by Mr. Obama’s strengths (and not put off by any perceived weaknesses of Mrs. Clinton).

He declined to get into details, but, in general, he sounded awfully excited about Mr. Obama’s potential and the freshness of his candidacy.

I think Hillary has her financing operation pretty much set up. I'm not sure about Edwards.

5. well, thank you for deciding on your own that he will not win
lets leave it up to the voters in the primaries and caucuses. And if he's nominated then the nation.

9. Agreed and Well Said.
It's a long time until election day and lots of things are yet to unfold. In any event I will leave it up to the voters to make their own hopefully informed choice.

7. I think he can
I doubted too. Then he did the Bears Game spot. At that moment I was convinced. He may not get the South, but he will get the Blue Collar vote - and they will make or break this election.

10. Obama also has Hollywood power money
Speilberg, Katzenberg and David Geffin are orgainzing a big bucks fundraiser for Obama. Think Streisand, Hanks, Clooney, Roberts, Penn, Sheen and all those other millionaires who contribute to liberal candidates.
