I think Obama should suggest to McCain that the focus of tonight's debate be changed to the economy.


Let's call McCain's bluff. Let's see if he's prepared to spend an hour on national TV discussing this. Tonight.


If McCain isn't prepared to talk about it *tonight* then he's not prepared for the presidency.

3. But McCain could (and probably will) try to spin a no-show as saying he's staying in

Washington in order to "save the day" again... this way, any option for him to try to spin a no-show to his advantage will be neatly pre-empted.
