Bushies Mislead Our Heroes: Post-9/11 NYC Air Falsely Declared "safe to breath"-Bush History 9/18

The Bush administration misleads residents and rescuers in lower Manhattan on this date, just days after 9/11. The White House has the EPA modify a warning of 9/11 toxins in the air to instead declare that the air is "safe to breath", without evidence that it was. Yet another sad example of Bush administration immorality.

2. Another one of Bush's lies brought to light

We have been numbed by quantity of his lies making it hard to evaluate the impact of them.

Here Bush lied and hundreds of our own citizens were injured, but the response is "yawn, just another lie."

4. The Kerry campaign failed to leap on this in 2004 - I just dont understand it

This would have been a great ad for the kerry campaign in 2004. Bush in front of the firefighters, acting like one of them, and then the revelation that he had the EPA actually deceive these heroes about the air quality in those days, when they could have been more careful to protect themselves. It could have been a powerful ad about the complete lack of ethics and respect for human life of the Bush White House. An opportunity lost. An election lost.
