McCain threw the country for a loop with VP pick..maverick? or illogical thinking?
because other than her energy, that woman brings nothing to the table...the choice, the shock of the choice was his trump card in that pick...that's how he operates...cunning and childish..something tells me he is stuck in a developmental bubble....it was a campaign choice, not a political choice ..and it seems to have worked ..for now...

you've gotta hand it to him...the shock of choosing such an extremist is an illogical choice which has got us all atwitter...his pick proves to a logical mind that this guy can't be trusted..and he doesn't care what we think really....but the attention, in part generated by us, is whats' got his poll numbers up..the attention that we give to our exasperation at it..not sayin that we need to stop keeping ourselves busy to stop it..just saying that we do contribute to it...the media keeps that woman alive...as long as we remain focused on her...she is just not that interesting and now the news is geared to 3rd graders.. lipstick .blah blah..rather than what is really going on today..and how the world is falling apart...cmon....

8. Bingo.
He caved in like the little bitch he is.

Just like he caved in to the Viet Cong and collaborated like the traitor he is.

Spoiled, rich, weakling.

Not prepared to lead.

9. It was a brilliant move.
If he had picked some lackluster dude, he'd still be trailing and in trouble.

Now, he's ahead and in the driver's seat, and our candidate still doesn't know what hit them.

10. Don't underestimate Palin - she could be dangerous
I've long thought McCain was the GOP's throw away candidate for an election they are prepared to lose. And what a perfect opportunity to promote and bring to national attention a politician who is a neo-con wet dream. This way, if McCain wins, Palin could take over if he keels over. OR if he lasts four to eight years, she can run in 2012 or 2016.

Even the Anne Kilkenny email says, "there's a lot of people who have underestimated her and are regretting it." http://www.snopes.com/politics/info/kilkenny.asp

I'm as happy as the next DUer to think that McCain is senile or whatever, but I think the Sarah Palin selection was not as much a way out there move as it first looked. I think it is calculated and a Rovian selection.

11. Rovian selection ---
I asked Mr MadinMo last night how much he thought Rove was involved in the campaign/Palin selection and he dismissed that thought. But it would not surprise me at all.

It has us scrambling and scratching our heads --- and all those who have said we need to continue to concentrate on the issues and hammer hammer hammer McPalin with that are correct. I hope people get tired of Miss Sarah's snarling whine soon.

12. I have a sneaky feeling
the pitbull is going to bite him in the ass.. can you say "implosion"

-the rumors about her pregnancy forced her hand to come clean about teenage pregnancy
-national enquirer article about her "alleged" affair had the campaign out there swinging with law suit
-book banning stories have been officially "pooh-pooh" by the campaign as opposed to ignoring it
-the freakout over lipstick on a pig

and now there's a story going around she's asking Rev Warren for bible versus to help her deal with the pressure

she's only been VP candidate for less than 2 weeks and she can't take the pressure? HA! she ain't seen nothing yet
