9. Heck, we've been preparing for years

After Rita's close call, we had a firm policy of picking up a few cans of vegetables and meats each time we went to the grocery store, along with a gallon of water. Plywood was pre-cut for our windows two years ago. I picked up a pack of diapers and fifty bucks worth of lantern and radio batteries this morning. We're set.

And hooch. We have a large selection of hooch.
