If 21 men from the same unit all die together in a suicide they could not keep that quiet unless they claimed the 21 men all died together in some other way, like an explosion, (which we have not heard). These families communicate with one another.

This doesn't come from a reliable source.

16 dead and 5 poisoned and in critical condition from the same company is impossible to go un-noticed here. The families are in contact with each other.

19. I have watched my brother ship out to war zones on more then a few occassions

After 10 years of retirement he spent a year on the ground in Iraq as a Naval officer last year.

He was there when his son was born.

He was there when myself and my teenage daughter marched on the Capitol building against this bloody war.

I am VERY aware of the deaths of our men and women due to this war. Not just those who die on the field of battle but also those who die at home, often by their own hands.

I know what it is like to feel like you just can't breathe. Or to be afraid to answer the phone when I saw my Parents number on the caller ID. Or to wait, never knowing which base he was at that day when you would hear of an attack. To know his job was traveling between 6 bases and also knowing that most are dying while traveling.

So yes, I care about the 4155+ deaths. I care alot.

I also care enough to stop and think before I react. The scenario played out by the Iranians just could not happen in this day of lightening fast communication.

16 men from the same company, the same community, on the same day, would be big news and could never be ignored.

I just did a Google search for "16 troops commit suicide," and while there are quite a few results, they all trace back to that one Iranian TV source. A government-funded Iranian TV source, which has referred to Israel as "the Zionist regime." (And I'm no fan of the Israeli government.)
