I just got this in my Progressive Democrats of America Impeachment Google Group email. I am sorry to admit I skip most of them - just too many pots on the fire, so to speak but this one I just happened to open (Alaska being in the subject line, I thought this may have something to do with Sarah Palin):

I admit, I felt it was doable, only if... we had a certain format that we made an ad to look like a front page with articles by key impeachment people in DC namely Wexler and Kucinich, and other information included in a straight forward manner from say Vincent Bugliosi and David Swanson Elizabeth De La Vega, et al.... The trade off would be that these people with large email groups would forward the donation request with an endorsement. The donation site itself needed to be simple to the point of Walt Disney-like, so that new people who were ready to donate did not have to do much more than simply that.



I did my best to convey this too,but at the same time I was off on a 3 week trip to Alaska- Where of course I was when the Sarah Palin plan emerged. On the trip I was attending to an elderly lady of 90 with four hip replacements, I had very minimal time to dedicate to fundraising. Of course I spoke with many people, and met Terrylyn McCain from California who is meeting me next Tuesday in DC, along with another party and we will lobby from Wed- Friday. . I had little or no opportunity to email or call certainly no regular office time, and when I saw that the above parameters were not adopted, I knew it would not fly, and I didn't believe in it any longer.



I was amongst a lot of middle class vacationers taking a cruise and tours and what have you through Alaska. It was there that i learned of another compelling reality- look up ( if you haven't yet) Concentration Camps in the US on you tube. If they weren't Republican they were caught up in Obamamania, and quite resentful often that I would sully their vacation with such dire messages . I had one group of two couples whom I pitched the ad to- I could have sworn they were normal happy good hearted people -tell me- via the most vocal of the men, that they were " GLAD that those policies were being used ( torture, no habeus corpus) .....GLAD !!!!



On train to Fairbanks across the interior we were passing what may have been a concentration camp, I had looked up and found where the ones are suspected to be - we are talking brand spanking new now, not historical.. At any rate out in the middle of absolutely forbidden land where the evergreen trees grow maybe 20 to 25 feet high at the very highest usually more like 7 to 12 feet, with all their needles ribbed to one side of the tree from the prevailing winds and the full circumference no greater than a manhole say, at the base of these 600 year old trees. 600 years and all they grow is 10 feet !

But out here is the army base and the guide on this double high train with an elevator with full glass curved roof and plush seats is bragging about its capabilities - we can't see it but I turn to a vacationer and speak of the concentration camp issue, turns out he is a Vietnam vet and he has suggestions that I could follow to protect my land at home. He has food for six months ( though that is apparently illegal) he has revived a hand drawn well, and he suggests buying a big roll of barbed wire and making holes so that the oncomers fall in thereby requiring 2 more people to pull out the injured.

I turned on as many as I could to the website, and I had the best of receptions amongst non- Americans, particularly Australians, and British. I met a Korean woman obviously well educated who did not know what kind of political system there was in S. Korea, so removed are the people from the process there. My hosts in Alaska are healers of Post Traumatic Stress and have a White Raven Healing Center, they were quite overbearing in insisting that the change must come from within myself and had to be all done on a spiritual level and clearly wanted me to not speak of the matters - even insisting i wear one of their jackets since my own had a large impeach sticker on it. I came away feeling very healed and empowered, but I could not agree with them whole heartedly , I believe that truth within and in DC have got to match. The physical and the spiritual plane must be attended to.

Needless to say I was not able to get them to part with their money for the ad, and in fact i was accused of having " negative energy" for the concerns I do have, since I was along as a caregiver/ person of interest, and had no money to contribute I was somewhat at their mercy.



I just returned to Vermont on the 4th and will be in DC again by the 9th. I do have an inspiration regarding how to make a lasting and deep impression on the congressional members with what $3000.- we have, and I will put that in the next email since this one has it's separate focus of NEWS from Alaska.
