Where's the Beef, John Wayne McCain?
I just sent this out to 18 newspapers, local and national:

Dear powerful Media Elites,

Could you please pass this note to Sen. McCain? He's a busy guy, but I want to make sure that he "gets it".

Dear Senator McCain,

Now that you have reaffirmed your status as a "Maverick" via verbal acclamation labeled "straight talk", brazenly stolen your opponent's slogan of "Change", selected your Vice President to attract the VV (Vagina Vote), and called on a new era of bipartisan civility; following 3 days of Obama bashfest and lie-athon..... what's your plan for this country and for us Americans? in otherwords, where's the beef?

Respectfully,

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

and if more of us did it, we could have a wide impact. But folks always think someone else is doing what they could, so they don't.

I use a tool that allows one to send the same letter to 5 publications. By copying and pasting, and repeating the process, it becomes quick. I've had some published. But what is also important is that the editors tend to read these, and so, even if regular newspaper reading folks don't get the message, the newspaper does.....which can help later when you want good positive coverage for your candidate. :)
