I've heard A LOT of them calling into cspan, mostly women, either they are faking, or they are from some planet I am not aware of.

6. I agree.
I have numerous family members and friends who supported Senator Clinton during the primaries. Not a single one of them is considering voting for McCain.

5. They're GOP call-bots
They usually follow a script along the lines of "I'm a lifelong Democrat and supporter of Senator Clinton, but after seeing Ms. Palin speak, I'm going to vote Republican for the first time in my life. Blah blah blah."

CSPAN is also chock full of people who say "I'm a registered Independent, but I'm voting Republican," and "I don't carry water for either party, but I'm voting Republican."

They're annoying, to be sure, but I take some comfort in the knowledge that some 90% of them are more than likely just reciting their lines.

26. Absolutely. No question.
Only a meth-addled Rushbot would believe the concept is even remotely plausible.

But they were obviously Repukes. I'm sure that 99.99% of these supposed former Hillary supporters are just pukes.

14. They aren't real Democrats.
I am a REAL Democrat with Democratic ideals. I wanted Hillary. I was very disappointed when she lost and mad for about 2 weeks. But I am 100% behind Obama because he represents my ideals. Every Hillary supporter who is a true Democrat will vote for Obama.

Remember, a lot of these Hillary supporters weren't real Democrats. They supported her because they wanted a woman. Period.

Don't waste your time with them.

16. i think there were a number of voters who voted for hrc who were not traditionally democratic
and they wont vote for obama. in reverse had hillary won i bet we would have seen people who refused to vote for hillary.

i do not think these nubmers are big and i do think the media focusses on them just to keep this division between the clintons and obama alive

its stupid for us to buy into this BS

19. What about the fact that we gave McCain the opening to select
Palen.

Beating up on Hilary voters just drives them further away.

You made a conscious decision. If Hilary were on the ticket
McCain would not have had the Palen option. It is your
decision---not Hilary voters.

20. Hillary supporters.....put down the kool-aid.
I was speaking to a woman recently who said the same thing - she claimed not to know what Obama "stands for" and will end up voting for mccain because she wants to vote for someone who has a chance of winning.....

Ok. That makes no sense.

Obama has a 30 page policy paper on his website, but lets not actually read it. Just keep swallowing the republican spin that Obama is all fluff.

The best line was "since I don't know what he stands for I have to assume he's ultra left wing."

Really? Obama might be many things, but Dennis Kucinich or the modern-day reincarnation of Eugene Debs he is not.

They aren't democrats at all. It's not about the party, it's about the vagina.

I suspect that quite a lot of people who describe themselves this way were in fact McCain supporters from the start.
