The cops in the Twin Cities must be really bored

I haven't seen so many speed traps in my life last night driving from Minneapolis to the south suburbs. Over 20 miles, I counted at least 10 cops creeping in the shadows; and was passed by 3 more as they cruised past me. Then there were the 5-6 squad cars stationed at the closed off-ramps leading to the convention.

I drove within a few hundred yards of the Xcel Center twice on Monday and twice on Tuesday, and I have to say it's the biggest non-event I've ever seen. The traffic wasn't even slowing down.
