I was just sitting here ..thinking about what is being talked about ..its all Palin..all the time...so I thought why?

1. she is unknown

2. and people even if only subconsciously, seem to be sure she will be taking over for McCain at some point.

1. Yes - they're looking at her as though she's the nominee for President.
It's kind of like McCain has taken a back seat, like it's assumed he won't last long.

2. Melanoma kills.
We all know that. So this Palin pick is worrying in the extreme.

3. Not if you catch it before it enters the bloodstream.
I had melanoma about 20 years ago, and they got it all.

If you don't catch it in time, there's no cure or treatment (or at least there wasn't when I had it). It's either/or.

4. Because he is 72 with a history of melanoma
Plus has most likely been exposed to agent orange. If you looked those factors up in an actuarial table, the odds are that McCain will not complete his first term if he manages to steal the election. That would leave the ethics challenged VP to step in.
