And last week Ohio Secretary of State Jennifer Brunner responded with a long letter setting out the law and provisions regarding voter challenges in Ohio.
In short, Brunner made absolutely clear that she will not allow the wholesale challenge of voters. She stated that she will be informing all elections officials in the state that every challenged voter is entitled to due process such as notice and a hearing. Moreover, any voter purged from the voter rolls is entitled to cast his or her vote using a provisional ballot. A full copy of the Brunner letter is here.
