Gov. Deval Patrick Just Walked Into The Big Tent...

to applause from all the bloggers, and is now getting a lesson in blogging.

"Don't do it, governor, you'll get sucked in!" I exclaimed. Everyone laughed. They thought I was kidding. :-)



There is a nice sense of comaraderie here in the tent, and I have settled in here for the afternoon to get my pictures posted. They are forthcoming. Then it is off with Elad and hopefully Ava to the DU meet-up. Kudos to HawkeyeX for setting this up. On a not particularly significant note, my mother called me a little while ago and said she happened to click on her T.V. for a few minutes and immediately saw me. Dishnetwork has running coverage on Ch. 211 and apparently they got a shot of me working in the Blogger's Lounge over at the convention hall.

I just read that his speech was not broadcast on any network but C-SPAN. The country missed out if they weren't on C-SPAN.

2. That was the first time I had heard him speak. Very impressive!

Too bad the rest of the country missed that. Seeing Patrick and Swietzer really gave me good hope. I got a feeling one of those guys may get the nod one day.

I think they totally screwed that one up and a lot of the convention last night! :grr:

ABC & CBS is carrying the convention LIVE right now!! It was supposed to be on at 10 PM !!

I'm almost shocked that he didn't get more coverage - I can't comprehend the lack of attention given to how histoprical this event is. Granted they're mentioning it tonight, but why not show Patricks speech last night??

no one thought he had a chance. But Deval said, Together We Can and we did. We worked our buts off, but we did it.
