Why is Senator Feinstein making it easier to steal votes?

Senator Dianne Feinstein has joined with Senator Bob Bennett of Utah — one of the most conservative members of Congress — to introduce a bill that would allow states to use electronic voting machines with no paper trail whatsoever.

To make matters worse, sections of the bill addressing election audits are extremely vague, leaving truck-sized loopholes for falsified election results to cruise through. According to the New York Times, "This bill goes out of its way to placate voting machine manufacturers," while voter protection groups like Verified Voting weren't even allowed to give input.1

It's not yet clear whether this bill will pass before November, or how it will affect the election if it does. What is clear is this: Senator Feinstein and other lawmakers aren't standing with those of us who want to protect elections. It's time to take matters into our own hands.
