I swam in college so I watch a lot of the "little things" ... and he's astounding how he's got everything I can find 'right'. He just blows me away ... and it makes me VERY nostalgic for those days I swam. (I actually had a trim body with long muscles in those days.)

What is the "7" that Phelps supposedly has? He has 11 total golds, five golds this Olympics. He has 5 world records this Olympics.

TiVo(ed) and slightly delayed.

I didn't mind knowing the results in advanced...predictable. Shall watch #5/#11 shortly. 6/12, 7/13 and 8/14 coming up later in the games.

Wasn't he comtemplating dropping out of one event? But might not want to get stuck on #13.

Unless jet assist is allowed in the future I suspect his records will be around for some time to come.
