Republican Bloggers attack Vietnam Vets

For some strange reason, certain Republican National bloggers and some in Virginia are attacking Vietnam vets and their families. I noticed it, and I could not for the life of me figure out why. Reading with interest, I quickly found out why. According to them, Vietnam Vets and their friends, families, and supporters are planning to desecrate the Wall in DC on March 17, 2007. I read that and I was SHOCKED. Who would do such a thing? And why? As a child of a Vietnam vet and a person with familiar names on that wall, I was very offended.

But then I remembered that fact is not fiction, and vice versa. I did a quick Google search and I was HORRIFIED to see that the Republican bloggers of Virginia were lying and defaming our brave soldiers, past and present.

I don't care who you are and what you believe in politically, but you better damn well watch yourself if you are going to defame our brave veterans. Excuse me, but how dare you, and who do you think you are?

You know, I have gotten over some personal gripes with Republican bloggers in the past, but I cannot stand liars. Because certain sad Republican bloggers are spreading a vicious and despicable lie about American citizens and Vietnam Veterans, I feel I have to post the truth. The truth:

Tens of thousands of people will be gathering at Constitution Gardens at 12 noon near the Vietnam Memorial prior to the March on the Pentagon on Saturday, March 17. We will not be in the Vietnam Memorial and all speakers for amplified sound are turned away from the Memorial so as not to interfere with family members visiting the site. Constitution Gardens is the same location that ANSWER used for its mass anti-war rally on October 26, 2002. On March 17, 2007 we will leave Constitution Gardens and march on Constitution Ave. and then to Virginia on the way to the Pentagon.

The 58,000 U.S. soldiers who lost their lives in Vietnam and the millions of Vietnamese who were killed, died in a criminal war. The connection between Vietnam and Iraq could not be more clear. Iraq is also a criminal war of aggression. The central issue today, just as it was in 1967, is to bring the war to an end.

2. And sadly, on March 18th, these same people will take credit
for stopping the desecration of The Wall by Vietnam Vets, Families, and Friends. That's how they do it! Promulgate an outrageous, highly offensive lie about the "enemy" then claim victory in defeating them though their exposure of the initial lie.

4. For Repuke's it's all about misdirection and trying to avert attention from reality
and that reality is that the curtain is being lifted on the Bushco's and many among the Repuke's are going to be appalled at what they see.

7. Have those republican bloggers started raising funds for an Iraq Memorial?
No. That would require compassion and a knowledge of events. They are too busy being good conservatives, lying and hating and distracting just so they can one day in the future feel good about themselves for a few minutes.

8. Would not surprise me
Edited on Fri Mar-09-07 08:13 PM by NI4NI
if the WALL would be defamed and desecrated with "liberal left" slogans and graffitti by the very same Reptiles who say that the anti-war demonstrators are planning on doing it. Does anyone really believe there is anything too far and low for them to stoop to?
