Poll question: which story has more lasting impact, Edwards mistress or Bush ordering fake Iraq letter?
Two stories have come out in the last week or so that would not only be impeachable offenses for any other administration, but have cost over a million lives and trillions of taxpayer dollars. I don't remember seeing either in the front page of local papers:

1. Bush ordered a forged letter linking saddam and al qaeda before the iraq war.

2. Cheney discussed plans to fake an attack by iran on US ships to have an excuse to attack Iran.

One of these stories has cost a million lives and trillions of dollars.

The other could cost immeasurably more.

Instead of hearing about these on the news we are hearing about what a guy who holds no elective office and is no longer running for office does with his dick.

Which stories have had more impact on your life and will have more impact on the course of history?

5. I assume this is a rhetorical question?
Bush and his cronies should be in a prison cell, like, yesterday. But we've got a speaker of the house and senate that don't want to cause a fuss by doing their elected duty, so there you go.

These stories basically show two things, one that Democrats get worse treatment when it comes to sex scandals, and two, sex scandals earn revenue for media outlets more than do important stories. Most people find 'serious' stories boring, sad to say. That's why they're being ripped off left and right and don't complain- can't be bothered to pay attention.
