West Bengal's communist government took about 1,000 acres of farmers' land for the factory. The state offered compensation in return, but some complained they did not receive their dues


Wait a minute, I keep hearing and reading about "The united states in India" and how they are "(the middle east's) biggest demnocracy."

Last I recall, communism is not quite the same thing as a democracy...?

1. Communism is an economic system, democracy is a political system
You can even have a communist democracy.
