In the last clip of Obama in the commercial, he has a lisp. WTF is up w/ that?

For one, it pokes fun at Obama's supposed "savior" status among the public. Second, it caters to the fundies who truly believe that O is the Antichrist.*


* Which any theologian worth their weight in biblical scholarship will tell you that the Bible uses the term "antichrist" to define anyone who countered the early church's teachings, but when did actually learning the context of their sacred book ever help the fundies? :P

30. First of all, it borrows heavily from Christian video imagery.

Putting the words over the light through the darkness thing is pretty obvious. The deep voice in the voiceover that's so similar to all of the Christian videos I remember seeing in church as a kid is used outside of the church, obviously, but still something they'd pick up. Calling him "The One" while he's talking about being accepted around the world references the Antichrist. It's all there.
