McCain supporters Rick & Kathy Hilton not happy with McCain ad.
Edited on Fri Aug-01-08 08:52 AM by Mugsy
I'm still reading the story now, but the famed owners of the Hilton Hotel chain, who have (each?) given the maximum $4,600 donation to the McCain campaign, are not happy that their daughter was used in a derogatory way in McCain's latest anti-Obama ad. :)

1. If Paris' image was used without her consent, she might have legit grounds for litigation.

2. Spears is already looking at filing a lawsuit.
Try putting her in your commercial w/o her permission & just see what happens.

3. The campaign evidently feels they do not need permission to
infringe on others rights. I hope Frankie Valli's people make them pay for the use of his music. Copyright ya know... His campaign strikes me as very inept...

6. Good point.
Looking at McCain's ads, they don't seem to respect ANY performers rights.

Any hint as to what a McCain Presidency might be like?

4. McThuselah should be careful
The Hiltons have more money than his campaign does.

5. This was Jon Stewart's "Dick Move of the Week Award."
"So thank you, Mr and Mrs. Hilton, for contributing the maximum to my campaign. And to show my gratitude, watch me take a huge, televised sh** on your daughter."
