SCOOTER - Plame no big deal?

In the grand scheme of deceiving the citizens of the United States of America - Scooter's conviction may be no big deal to the rabid right.

To understand what it means we have to jump into the way-back machine

It goes back to the "16 words" that bush uttered

It goes back to all the LIES and misleads and intell manipulation and cherry picking the bush administration used to justify invading Iraq

Why was Plame outed? To shut down Wilson and discredit him.

Why did they want to shut down Wilson? to prevent ANY questioning of the "intell" used to justify invading Iraq.

Why Prevent Questions? BECAUSE IT WOULD REVEAL THAT BUSH/CHENEY/RUMSFELD et al LIED TO US

There are to be some congressional hearings regarding Scooter and the Plame leak. The hearings need to go back further or expand their purpose to include those "16 words" and the rest of the mainuplated/cherry picked intelligence.
