Bear breaks into Circuit City
By Alan Gathright, Rocky Mountain News

A startled bear — perhaps hungry for a plasma TV — broke into a Circuit City store in Colorado Springs this morning.

"It's been pretty jumping this morning," said Circuit City supervisor Dawn Greene, who was inside the store during the 7:13 a.m. bear break-in.

The ursine intruder shattered a glass sliding door to enter a customer pickup area and cracked a second glass door, before fleeing into a nearby residential neighborhood and disappearing.

"When I called my assistant manager, luckily the cops were still here and they verified my story," Greene said.

18. The bear was later replaced with another, less-experienced bear
Management saved $2 an hour for the entire shift, and the stockholders received 25 cents a share as a bonus.

5. Somebody get this one to Stephen Colbert.
It validates his warnings about bears.

First they come for your I-pods. Then they come for you.

12. Poor bear...

It's got to be tough to be a wild creature these days.. We siphon off/pollute their former water supplies, scare off prey or pave over their food sources, build houses where they used to roam/migrate, and then we wonder why they end up venturing into "populated" areas

15. Wow

I heard the competition with Best Buy had gotten rough for Circuit Sh**ty, but now they've even ticked off the local wildlife. That can't be good.
