We live in a Soviet-style secrecy society now
That was what I was thinking while watching Fitz today. It's what I have thought every time the Plame (or 9/11, or Iraq, or ANYTHING) comes up where officials talk to the press/public.

Everything is either an "ongoing-investigation" or pertaining to "national security".

They just can't let the actual truth be known to us anymore. We get little pieces, and we are increasingly accepting these tidbits as all that we are entitled to.

1. I know. The number of secrets has increased exponentially since Clinton was in office...
and Clinton was a DLCer who went to the right.

2. ChimpCo continues to say they can't comment on the verdict
because a Motion for New Trial and, if that fails, an appeal are in the works.

The instant the appeal is denied, ChimpCo will then state the case is over and it's time to move on.

4. The larger the scale, the fewer people with power
Order needs to be kept, and every jackass out there with an opinion can't have a say, or else nothing would get done. Bigger is better for a small percentage of people. But hey, can't stop progress.
