6. Thanks.
I googled it, and what I got was the name of a band.

Figured it had to mean something else entirely.

30. Amazing voice and gone much too soon....
A number of years ago I read about him in the LATimes -- just one of those home-and-family stories by their staffers that they sometimes run. She said his CD was always in their player, that they danced and embraced to this song. Who could resist that? I went out and found that CD and the others -- there's a whole Hawaiian section at Borders in Santa Barbara and Goleta, so it wasn't hard. I can see why there's a cult following, if so.

13. I once called you Sleeping Limpet, but you didn't bite, so I thought I got moimoi wrong maybe.
But I think I'm right. You've got to be pretty clever to sneak up on those opihi with the waves crashing around you. :D

When I was a kid in the 60s we had a family friend who got a scholarship to study Art in Boston. He told some of his classmates his family back home had limu plantations, and that there was nothing quite like riding along in the morning just watching the limu grow.

21. I once went to Japan with a Trade Group....Steve Katase is the owner of a
Company that produces seaweed(LIMU)...big bucks for edible algae...he does it in large tanks at NELHA in Kona

Moimoi is my version of moe moe(Sleep) only because at the time, I was raising MOI....had several thousand of them over a period of 4 years...polydactylus sexfilis...pacific threadfin....one of the best reef fishes in Hawaii. So i figured to meld the 2 terms...voila..Opihimoimoi...hehe

Happy Luaus to you

Not bad for such a small and remote place. Must be something in the water -- or the distance from Washington, DC.

He spoke at my high school graduation -- we were all a lot younger then, I can tell you.

SO and SOs of a feather...

John wants to use "Reagan's Pen" to write off the unions for good. He's 100% for the white devil slavemasters like McGeorge.
