3. Mika read his statement on MSNBC this morning, he's stumping for Obama
even as they wheel him in for surgery! They don't make them like Teddy anymore. :patriot:

6. Someone at Duke must have thought they could help? Was he stills stumping for Obama on the way in?
Sure don't make them like that for sure, no wonder he's been so effective in the senate for so many years

13. Good news!
Ted is going to be with us, leading the Good Fight, for some time to come. He is a tough man, and he is going to continue to be a key player in the effort to rebuild the foundation of our Constitutional democracy.

15. It IS inoperable for you and me...

generally, but there are extreme, experimental techiques being pioneered all over the world and you can bet that this is priority one...which it should be, to save him. His life is invaluable.

His son who lost his leg survived osteosarcoma and virtually no one did in those days.

Please do not bash me for saying these things...anyone who thinks we have a single-tier or two-tier health-care system is suffering under a terrible misconception. There are special procedures for special patients. I know...I was associated with a tertiary-care health institution for years.

I wish him well...

18. The NYTimes had an article on targeted radiation. It seems it's the "new thing" and
more of the necessary facilities are being built.

It's just the paying for it part.

20. I agree with you
and would also hazard a guess that Sen. Kennedy would like to see all Americans have access to the same level of health care he receives.

Prayers to you Sen. Kennedy. Hope to see you back on the front lines with us in the health care reform battle. May your experience give you renewed committment.
