I still don't know what to make it his 'revelations', but I do think he's not quite the little boy cupcake he seemed when he was fending off the (admittedly weak and feckless) press.

2. Right?
I was thinking the same thing. He does have a functioning brain after all.

That said, I'm glad he wrote the book.

3. As I said in another thread:

He is still wrong about a lot of things and an apologist for many.

I think he just decided he couldn't live with being so associated with the wrong side of history.

Ultimately he has clarified much, added some important details and reasswrted many false perceptions.

4. Personally, I cannot think of the phrase, "ongoing investigations" without thinking of him.
I'm not quite sure what to make of him now, but... perhaps he has struck a blow on the side of truth for a change.

7. No, I don't think its that at all
I think his tone, his vocal cadence, his formation of thoughts, seemed far more intelligent.

As I said in the OP, I don't yet know what to make of the substance of what he said, but I think he expressed himself well.

8. It's easier to seem on top of things when your agenda is reality-based
That's why I give a lot of props to Ari Fleischer -- he was a true pro, he could take the most repulsive and idiotic positions and make them seem appealing, or at least so complicated and top-secret that no mere press-corps mortal could ever comprehend their flaws. Scotty took those same positions and mumbled a lot of "i don't know, let me get back to you on that one" or "can't comment on an ongoing investigation." He couldn't weave that same sorcerous tapestry of delusion for which Ari was so renowned. Scotty was a lackluster press secretary, but comes across as a very cogent whistleblower.

11. just one question did Scott say he would be willing
to go in front of Conyers Committee? Well John Dean said in his interview Scott will realize who his friends are now. I am sure they will make his life a living hell, if he did stick a thorn on their sides.

13. I think that hes definitely hit a nerve with the neo-CONs
and bushco. I was watching a while back when he said to the press pool how he was looking forward to being able to talk to them about what really goes on someday. After that day I have felt that he was a better person than the rest of the bottom feeders he was surrounded with. I also think that we're getting close to all hell breaking loose and when it does the people of america will turn on dick and w so fast it'll scare all of us. Yes bushco's days are numbered and Scottie is only the tip of the iceberg. Shits a fixin to happen in washington that we've only been dreaming of. And its about fucking time...
