I have a giant complaint:
All these guys and gals sitting around on all these morning programs chortling about these 'revelations' that there were 'dissemblings' and 'less-than-complete-truths' in the White House. They're laughing about this as though someone found out that there was cheating going on in some minor-league hockey game in Winnipeg, Canada.

First: it was obvious to anyone over the age of 8 that these people were lying through their teeth.

Second: the MSM people normally responsible for holding these criminals' feet to the fire are acting as though they had no complicity and were fooled. They're the real traitors, they should at the very least lose their jobs wholesale. If they were being threatened or blackmailed they should have banded together and exploded this myth which they created.

Third: idiots like David Gregory get to critique their own performances by giving rationales for the publication of this book. Remember that this asshole McClellan was the Press Secretary and these other assholes were the sycophants - what we need in MSM is others who were critical of the policies to come forward and be interviewed, not Timmeh or Tweety...who think this stuff is pretty funny.

See, it's the laughing and good-ole'-boy attitude exhibited this AM which is EVEN MORE intolerable. they should be pilloried for their malfeasance and ineptitude but instead, they're just going to regard it as business as usual, and 'cover' it. More like 'undercover' it.

1. I would love to have been a fly on the wall when McClellan and David Gregory
set up their dog and pony show for the press room.

3. The whole thing, with the exception of Helen Thomas
is a giant circle-jerk.

She's excepted for 2 reasons: she's a)competent and b) the obvious.

2. No they'd rather write/talk about how Barack confused
Auschwitz or Buchenwald. I could not believe my flippin' eyes when I saw this as a major news story this AM.

Bush misled the country into this GD war and all the AP can write about is that Obama used the wrong name for a concentration camp??

WTF is wrong with the M$M??

:nuke: :nuke:

7. Like these MSM folks know anything themselves...
about this stuff.

Half of them think that Nazi Uniforms were pretty sharp I bet.

Low-life morans...

some of us are not. The corporate media needs to handed their a$$es they have done a great injustice to all of us. An uninformed electorate is a dangerous electorate, I remember from Richard Clarke's book Against All Enemies.

5. There's cheating in minor league hockey in Winnipeg?
You are right. Anyone with any brains knew all along that there was a lot if 'dissembling' going on. The msm have failed in their role of shining light and reporting truth.

6. There was a time when Gregory did his job.
He was clearly one of the few that would press the WH on some issues. Unfortunately, the attraction of celebrity was far too great. :(

10. My theory is that someone in the WH figured, "We're gonna have to buy this guy off."
Then day turned into night.

9. Shame On Me, Shame On You...
Look at how the corporate media is ignoring the Pentagon plant story...much to their chagrin, the netroots has kept this story alive and the networks may have to come clean on their complicity with this regime in putting on what they knew were outright lies, conflict of interest and sending this country into a disastrous war for profit...because they had something to gain. It was embedding their reporters for those whiz-bang reports in the opening days of the invasion, then "access" to regime mouthpieces who would hide behind "annonymous sources" and astroturf even further. Damn right the networks knew they were being used and went right along as it also fed their greed and bottom line.

Welcome to plausible deniability time...the corporate media hopes you'll forget their past lies and abuses and believe they're the "most trusted name in news"...ignore all that's went on as our corporate media now has become the "watchdogs". What a pile of shit.

Damn right they're laughing it off, cause they have no real skin in this game (to paraphrase Rahm)...they'll play dumb on how they were used and hope people don't either ask any questions or remember anything. Just "move along"...nothing to see here.

13. Unless one of the (D)s says something really stupid...
or some bimbo starlet goes out again without wearing underwear, they may have to live with this story for a while.
