Ann Coulter: The Conservative Id
Over the years we have witnessed the Conservative-led degradation of many things positive which had been advanced or attempted to be advanced by our progressives: open and uncensored education, civil rights, tolerance and acceptance of alternative life-style individuals, culture and history, and human rights to name just a few. Like an encroaching tide which washes in and out, the nature of the dialogue has moved to the right inexorably and the rate of increase of radicalization is increasing (second derivative mathematics).

What Ann Coulter represents is the 'jump' of the asymptotic curve of the graph of right-ward motion. If you don't like mathematics, think science fiction: rather than taking 40 years to reach Alpha Centauri but more conventional means, her vitriol is the hyperspace jump...blink: and you're there.

Many years ago, in the 1960's the British magazine Private Eye ran a comic which I shall never forget: it depicted a man on an Underground (subway) looking at the racially mixed passengers and thinking to himself that the ultra-conservative MP Enoch Powell had said that this was bad news for England. That Powell said it, and 'everyone else' was thinking it. This is what Coulter's role is: she says it and others will think it or fill in the gap between.

Reprehensible.

2. I don't believe that they see things in those terms,
although I take your point.

they see her IMO as the point MAN in their fascist attack on the 'Liberals' which consist of everyone from Barry Goldwater Left to the Leninists and Trotskyites (all being the same, I might add). She is very important in this regard for the Conservatives. Stewart is the satirist, he uses verbal jiu jitsiu in the sense that the person's own words are the best evidence against them ...she is the Destroyer, the vilifier...

7. I understand what you mean.
The Right thinks so differently from me that I have only been able to guess at their motives using my own frame of reference. It hasn't worked, and now I understand why. Thanks.

4. They have the habit of throwing the worst at you so you will settle for something less
She represents the far right, which IMO is Extreme while they say Jon Stewart represents the far left which IMO is more middle of the road Satire. So if you choose the middle between Extreme Right and middle of the road you settle for Far Right.. We need to remind America that Trent Lott is Far Right as are almost all Republican elected officials. Even the most Liberal of the Republicans are quite far right, so the "middle" is actually far from it.

6. The Conservative Id is a lot worse than Ann Coulter
With Ann, you get the feeling she would date a black man, has gay friends, probably doesn't go to church to pretend to like Jesus.

Ann's the Conservative ego and superconscious. She plays with their psychic forces much more than she generates them. She's a conduit out for their worst instincts. We have yet to find anyone who has been able to make her a conduit in.

8. I respectfully disagree...
The brand of conservatism which we have had manifest during the Junior years is embodied in Coulter, Limbaugh, Beck, and other RW pricks. They are the vanguard for the assault upon the shores of dignity and righteousness and higher-order truth. This, not the Conservatism of Goldwater, Taft, and Rockefeller, is the evil which we have fought for many years, way more than 6 for many of us.

She's a neurotic, controlling, creepy bitch who should be excommunicated from the MSM and relegated to Hate Radio. I don't see her as a duplicitous individual who would have gay friends, etc., I see her as the sick evil incarnate.

The first time I saw her, she was on TV years ago, twirling her hair - probably a tricotillomaniac, frossing and unfrossing those bony legs. Real sick puppy there I thought - who TF is this? I sure found out real fast...
