Teen Attempts Suicide after Vulgar Diaper Attack by Classmate & Mom
Edited on Fri May-23-08 04:14 PM by RamboLiberal
An Indiana mother is facing criminal charges after allegedly helping her 15-year-old daughter scatter baby diapers scrawled with vulgar slogans on a classmate's lawn.

Julie Phillips, 50, allegedly helped purchase the diapers at a local CVS pharmacy for her daughter, 15, and her daughter's friend, according to a Bloomington, Ind., police report obtained by ABCNEWS.com.

In addition to driving the two girls to the classmate's home where they left the diapers, Phillips allegedly helped come up with the messages written on them, which included "close your legs," "baby killer," "you have no friends" and "bitch," according to police.

Phillips is facing criminal misdemeanor charges of harassment and trespassing as well as a civil lawsuit filed by Kim Capps, the mother of the daughter victimized by the prank. A lawyer for the victim claims the prank led the young woman to attempt suicide.

-----

According to Greene, Capps and her husband removed the diapers from their front lawn before their teenage daughter woke up on May 3, but not before taking digital photographs of the scene to show to police. Their daughter, who later found the photographs, took a combination of over-the-counter and prescription drugs and was found by a neighbor to be unresponsive in her home later that day, the lawyer said.

What the hell is wrong with these parents! This 50-year-old acts like a stupid teen herself!

4. Well, at least we now know
where the kid learned to be a hateful little monster.

Jesus, this is just ..... well ......... criminal. I hope the mother ends up in the slammer, and I really hope the girl's parents sue her in a nicely-framed civil action.

the subject of a Federal Prosecution.

These are immature women who have never grown up. I also think that they more than likely were bullies as teenage girls themselves.

I can't bear women like this. I know women like this. They are the mothers of teenage girls and want to be part of the clique. They have no parenting skills. They are too busy trying to be their daughters' girlfriend and have failed to be a mother. Their daughters grow up failing to have empathy for others, are selfish and narcissistic, and continue the cycle of bullying and obnoxious behavior.

I hope this mother goes to jail.

9. Anybody remember the sports hazing story from a couple years back?
Edited on Fri May-23-08 04:30 PM by oedura
I think it involved a girls' high school soccer team? I could be wrong. Parents went out with their children to help them collect dog feces--FECES--for them to throw at their classmates.

This stuff is small potatoes in comparison.

Seriously, though, our country is just soooooooooo fucked up on soooooooooo many levels.

10. Thank goodness she's still alive.
The attempt didn't take. This kind of thing is still used as an insult? We're sending very strange messages to kids, especially women, about being constantly sexual and simultaneously how terrible it is to be hyper-sexual.

I don't know if she's legally responsible for the attempt, but ethically she is. If the town responds like the town did to that MySpace woman, she will get some punishment out of this.
