The Walter Reed situation seemed to be improving, but now seems worse as we now discover that our wounded troops are fored to undergo daily inspections and are warned not to speak to the media. Is this still America? The congressional hearings begin Friday: this is must see TV.

And what caused the shoe lady to do a 190 degree spin in her Ferangamo's on negotiating with Iran and Syria? Suddenly she accepts the Iraq Study Group suggestions on bringing these two nations to the table to tackle the Iraq problem. Why the fancy-footed flip flop?

And we're palnning talks with N. Korea, too! All of a sudden we're ready to make nice with the world? Or is there some deeper plan afoot . . . .

It's kind of funny that you have to buy baby food for Norman, I had to get baby wipes for Willie's butt. Never in my life did I think that I'd have to wander down the baby aisle at the grocery store.

Ms. November mentioned something about coating the pill in Canola oil before you give them to him. I've never had to give the kitties pills. I wish I had some advice, but I've only given liquid medication to Peanut and Willie and of course Old Willie got his insulin injections. Peanut was just a baby when I had to give him his medicine, and you could do anything to Willie - he'd just sit there and purr.
