The fact that anyone came from there, like the blivet, makes it better, makes me wonder. Just saying.

4. Think of it as a pyramid scheme.
Lots of hardworking people at the bottom, a few insiders' spawn at the top.

5. Wow. I can post about
Iraqi widows and orphans, and I get more attention here. Not anyone's fault, but sucks.

7. Dubya shows what we get from a Legacy student
with unearned degrees. C- at Yale, and very bottom of his Harvard MBA class. Giveaway degrees to Alumni contributors and high level government earmark givers. No brains, only name recognition. Instead of a president we got ourselves a crash dummy.

11. I did a lecture at Emerson College in Boston and partied at Harvard all weekend long
and let me tell you, the average Harvard student isn't any smarter than your average student anywhere else. All of my conversations confirmed this.

The reputation is just that, a reputation. I didn't feel as if I was surrounded by incredibly bright people, but rather, incredibly privileged.

But for what reason?

13. Emerson!
Now that college I like! My roomie back in the 80s went there while I worked at Northeastern, and not as a prof.

14. I was publishing a hot underground e-Zine back then
like when there were less than a thousand web sites, and they found us, liked us, flew us in, paid me good money, liquored me up and found myself in the company of one of the hottest co-eds of all time.

I love Emerson.
