I also want ot say
that there's absolutely no reason that bacterial entities can't kill you in this day and age. The assumption that no one dies of infection is fallacious and legions of folk used to die form dental abscesses in my early lifetime, so just b/c in theory it's treatable does not mean that it's not just as virulent as it was fefore the existence of medications and treatment modalities.

5. Lack of health insurance keeps people from seeking treatment
until they are in crisis. Might I add not just lack of insurance, but many of those who have insurance are way under insured and avoid doctors until crisis also.
