1. Partly, yes. Could also be about campaign CASH
Remember all those BILLION$ in cash unaccounted for in Iraq? Think about all the bush/cheney key people who went there (many, just prior to 'stepping down') There's payoffs over there. And if McCain travels with Cheney, there isn't much of a customs search upon return to USA.

How much cash do you suppose they can fit on AF2? McCain's campaign was on it's last legs earlier, then he went to Iraq and viola! He was infused... with something.

Just things that make me go 'hmmmm'

5. That is ridiculous.
The Federal Election Commission AND the opposing campaign monitors expenditures and receipts of both campaigns in a general election. It is impossible to get any significant amount of money into a campaign without the FEC and the other campaign knowing about it.

8. Really? Bring home cash. Hand cash out. Get cash back as donations.
Ridiculous? Between the possibility of hush money paid to outgoing go-fers and the need to raise donations for incoming go-fers, I don't see it as ridiculous at all.

9. Please adjust tinfoil. It is too tight.
With contribution caps that would involve a conspiracy of thousands of people. If you think that is going on you have no hope.

13. I'm old enough to recall lots of elections where lots of dead people voted often
Not hard to envision the stiffs making donations these days.

Thanks for your profoundly amusing appraisal of my mental state, having never met me. Gonna prescribe drugs too? Do you have a web site?

3. Yes he is
That is how you get elected president - you get people used to the idea of seeing you as the president. That is why our fight is hurting us more than we know.

10. All I know is
I was only a teenager when Ronald Reagan ran for President and I remember thinking it was just a ridiculous farce and no way could such a fool become President. Then I remember thinking the same think about George W Bush.
They stole the last two elections, so what's stopping them now? It's sad that things have come to this. McCain is acting very confidant and I always wondered why he took the abuse from the Bush campaign sitting down.

18. your 1000% wrong.. he used all camp funds.. thats why he can fundraise outside the USA..
Edited on Sat Mar-22-08 06:42 PM by Thepricebreaker
If he didn't use 100% camp funds it would have been illegal for him to have a fund raiser. The DNC tried to call foul and he proved he used all camp funds, and shut the DNC up basically.

Looks like he only gave back $3000 in reimbursement.
That seems pretty stinky to me as the whole trip
was one big political photo op.

15. If by elected president
you mean George Bush, and if by acting you mean making pretty incoherent, erroneous statements and generally warmongering, then I would have to say that, yes, John McCain is acting like an elected president ( well, a not-really elected president)
