So the biggest fundie enabler doesn't attend church and Obama's preacher is the news 24-7. I've given up thinking the media and many people would spend more than a moment actually talking about real issues. Excuse me, this is my stop. I'm getting off.

26. He's a Dominionist
If you're interested, there's an excellent article by Katherine Yurica on Information Clearing House entitled "The Despoiling of America-how George W. Bush became the head of the new American Dominionist Church/State". Long (and chilling) article, but well worth the read. It explains the whole neocon/fundie/republican nexus. Only thing it leaves out is the Moonie/Bush/fundie connection. It sure set my hair on fire!!!

McCain sucking up to Hagee.

It's all wholly hypocritical.

A wicked double standard.

3. actually, not going to church is a PLUS in my book.
Not for *, but for anyone else seeking my vote. We have far too many *political preachers* enjoying tax-free status in this country. Wanna comment on politics? PAY your FAIR share of taxes. :grr:

10. Exactly.
God talks directly to him so he doesn't need a preacher. I still favor the idea that he's the anti-christ.

12. DId I hear that right?
Wait a second, the guy who is supposedly "God's President" doesn't attend church on Sundays?

Just wondering, have most Presidents been seen at church on Sundays? Given the myriad projects they probably need to be involved in and the 24-hour nature of running the country, I'd be surprised if they'd be able to. However, I seem to recall reading that Kennedy made sure to attend mass.
