Rush Limbaugh honored twice in Washington D.C.

Radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh was awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor in a ceremony at the White House. President Bush awarded the highly decorated Navy UDT/Seal the nations highest honor today. The exact reason for awarding Rush Limbaugh the CMOH is somewhat of a mystery since his missions in Vietnam are still classified.

The Department of Defense confirmed today that an Arleigh Burke-class DDG will be named for him as well. The USS Rush H. Limbaugh DDG-109 has been order but not yet laid down by Bath Iron Works.

Rush said he has always been very proud of his Navy service and his time spent in Vietnam.

'The Liberal media has been spreading rumors for years that somehow I got out of serving my country and that is simply not true.' said Rush
