They use the same words we use; they are capable of thinking reasonably, for the most part; they wake, eat, drink, and shit pretty much the same as we. What is the bug that drives such a percentage of humans to reach such intolerant and unwieldy conclusions.

I am aware that, in any society of diverse humans, approximately six percent are anti social, pathological, psychopathic. Anti social thinking and behavior have, as a prime function, the reduction of others to lesser beings than the actor considers himself to be and that type of thinking and behavior is a fundamental difference between democrats and republicans. I am not referring to false flaggers or other devious humans who see political assignation as a tool.

People who are naturally thrown to be democrats are realists, who accept, without calculus, that each person is as valuable to himself as is any other and allow the design of society to resolve to fit the people involved.

Republicans, on the other hand, are idealists who would design a society and force the people to fit that design. These "natural" republicans value a society wherein wealth and control should devolve to the most aggressive or lucky.

"Natural" democrats have a facility to walk a mile in the other guy's shoes, while republicans don't really care if he has any shoes to walk in.

How can we ever resolve these differences?

Republicans see no problem with doing whatever is necessary to take advantage, no matter the moral or ethical cost. I cannot stand that philosophy and don't think that sort of person should ever be in charge of anything that has to involve other humans.
