Headline on this morning's paper: "Bush: AQ on the run in Iraq"

That's correct: Apparently, in Shrub's State of the Bush Maladministration Address, he bragged about how Al Qaeda was "on the run" in Iraq.

Unfortunately, since Saddam did a very good job of keeping Al Qaeda OUT of Iraq while the Baathists were still running the country and they only really entered in noticeable numbers after the occupation began, the fact that Al Qaeda could be in Iraq to be "on the run" in the first place must only count as a Miserable Failure.
