Bill Maher: "Bush a 'Dolt' and 'a Gilligan Who Cannot Find His Ass with Two Hands'"
Edited on Fri Feb-23-07 08:44 PM by Quixote1818
This was a classic!

Bill Maher on President Bush on The Tonight Show: "The man is a rube. He is a dolt. He is a yokel on the world stage. He is a Gilligan who cannot find his ass for two hands. He is a vain half-wit who interrupts one incoherent sentence with another incoherent sentence. And I hope I'm not piling

on.  :applause:  :applause:  :applause:  :applause:  :applause:

Regarding the troop buildup itself, Maher noted:

Here's George Bush, the decider, deciding all on his own that this is a good idea. This was not a recommendation from our commanders on the ground. This was not a recommendation from the Iraq Study Group, as you know. It's not supported by the American people. It's not supported by the Iraqi people. It's just "President Charles in Charge" spitballin', thinking outside the bun, and saying to himself, "Everybody else is wrong. I alone know what the right answer – I've got everybody else's recommendations and then I, you know, I talk to the Big Guy." ... But this recovering alcoholic from Midland, Texas, he cannot be wrong at any point.

1. Gilligan was smarter.
And nicer.

And had a better heart.

And was a fictional character.

Too bad we can't say the same about the pResident.

2. Gilligan was also not in charge
As I recall, usually the Professor (brains) or the Skipper (experience) was in charge.

Or at least there was a vote or concensus or something.

9. Maher gets PAID for this?
Bill Maher is a simpering, self-involved fool who has managed to connive his way into notoriety. If the pendulum ever swings again to the right, he will again have his ample schnozzola crammed up the nearest republic behind. Guaranteed. BM - that says it all.

14. funny how Bill Maher can sound like a snide, self-righteous twit
even when he's right. I can get better insight into the Dumbo-in-Chief from a pompous ass like Maher.

15.  Funny, that since Bill Maher claims to be an environmentalist,,,
he has yet to even mention Al Gore's movie, or book, or concert preparations for July 7, or any of his work and the affect it has had on the issue seriously. But then, as many times as he has attacked him on his show I can see why he wouldn't. I haven't watched his show since he called Mr. Gore a freak of nature that should have a stake through his heart. Not funny, and neither is he.
