News Flash for Joe Scarborough...uh, yeah, it IS "Morning Mika"

Joe Scab was even more of a boorish oaf than usual this morning, snubbing weather person Jackie Meretzsky (sp?) with a smug "Who cares? Really, I don't care," when she did her little quiz bit that she does every morning. He tried to move on, Jackie was clearly insulted, and a similarly surprised Mika Brezinsky said "You know, it's not all about YOU!"

Joe gave her his usual smug, condescending look and said "Well, it's not Morning Mika, you know!"

News to Joe...if it weren't for the fact that your brilliant producers have surrounded you with bright, engaging, entertaining and informed side-kicks, your show would die a rapid death. You see your e-mail; your audience can't stand you, but you've won the morning race for many of us simply because the other offerings are so utterly, completely unwatchable. I promise you, Joe, if Mika left that show, you'd be done. SHE is the anchor, and the only voice of sanity on your set, you self-important, pompous douche bag.

3. Background noise in the morning...

It's kinda like coffee in the morning. It's bad enough that I sit down at this infernal machine every day, so I'd prefer not to climb out of bed and jump right onto to DU for the news. They actually do offer some interesting perspectives on issues, at least far more so than CNN or the network cooking and fashion shows.

5. At least Joe Scab excoriated John Gibson for his Heath Ledger

act on the radio yesterday. I don't know if he said anything else worthwhile today, but he hammered on Gibson and said the entire crowd at FOX is the same way.

Aside from that, it doesn't surprise me that Joe was a pill this morning.

7. Joe is quite rude to Mika.

He'll talk non-stop for three minutes, then turn it over to her and interrupt her first sentence. It's maddening.
