I believe Chelsea Clinton has turned out to be an extremely effective campaigner for her mom
She is showing such grace and class, and she's been making the case for her mother. I believe she is a large part of why Sen. Clinton won New Hampshire and Nevada...with the door-to-door campaigning she's been doing. Class act all the way!

Chelsea Clinton: Private Person, Public Campaign
Former First Daughter Keeps Distance From Press, Engages Voters

ABC News' cameras were allowed to follow Clinton as she campaigned in Nevada, joined in a nondescript minivan by Amber Tamblyn, star of "Joan of Arcadia," and America Ferrera, better known as the title character in ABC's "Ugly Betty."

The famous trio's hectic day began with a rally, and her father, former President Clinton, and retired NBA basketball Magic Johnson, were along for the ride. Then came a walk through the packed hallways of Caesar's Palace to meet everyone from blackjack dealers to kitchen workers.

-snip-

Next stop: the student union at the University of Las Vegas. Ferrera called it a "sneak attack" on the students of UNLV.

For weeks now, Clinton has been doing these kind of stealth campaign stops with no advance warning and no cameras supporting her mother's campaign.

"Do you have any questions about my mom's campaign?" she asks. The crowd asks a host of questions on everything from student loans to gay marriage and variety of detailed answers follow.

-snip-

At the day's first event — the rally with her father and Magic — the former president encouraged members of the crowd to ask questions of his daughter.

Rarely, with the opportunity to press the former president, do audience members take him up on the offer. But this time, someone did.

A teacher asked about the importance of getting youth involved in the election to which Clinton replied, "One of the clear messages in this election so far is that young people are motivated to pay attention and hopefully motivated to participate. And I just hope that we prove what they're saying about us true. I hope that we get online, and get informed, and show up."

-snip-

"It was really cute today," Tamblyn told ABC News. "We went to this rally where President Bill Clinton was speaking. … was like 'Dad, Dad, don't forget about … ' and she would like add something. And it was really cute watch their dynamic."

As I was saying in another thread this evening, this exact time next year, there will be someone staying at the Blair House across from White House...just hours away from taking the oath of office. And if Sen. Clinton is that person at the Blair House this time next year...I think Chelsea will have played a tremendous part in putting her there.

4. Who cares?
Geez, she's a major asset to Hillary's campaign and may make a difference in cutting into youth support for Obama.

The Obama campaign should care.

3. I think you're right, but since she is a part of Senator Clinton's campaign
can we ask Chelsea why she isn't serving overseas in Iraq? Since continued occupation is part of Senator Clinton's campaign.

6. She's an exceptional young woman. It's so refreshing to see someone her
age -- especially considering her parents -- who is so grounded. Lovely article.

11. Chelsea might be President one day...
Hillary will probably become President, despite the fact she has the personality of an android...(Lacks real humor and warmth...very hard to program.) And if she does, I feel that she'll be very competent, perhaps the most competent President in a long time. Unfortunately her programmers might have set her up to follow the middle of the road, big corporation agenda we all have seen in recent years.

Then in eight years it might be Jeb Bush's turn. He is much more competent than his brother and if his brother could do it, he might pull two terms. Finally Chelsea will get her chance, and she will be at least as good as her mother if not better. (More human and warm...a definite upgrade.)She will be followed by one of George W. Bush's daughters, because by that time people will have grown accustomed to female Presidents. Hopefully, the daughters will have gained some degree of maturity.

Let's see, that would make Bush, Clinton, Bush, Clinton, Bush, Clinton and Bush. Maybe as much as 52 years of Bushes and Clintons in the White House.
