Anyone know a microsoft customer email address?
Microsoft is claiming that I purchased something online from them through Xbox live that I didn't purchase. I called their customer service to try to get a refund for the item I didnt purchase. I was on hold for 15 minutes before I got through to someone. It was obviously someone in India as Microsoft outsources like crazy. I couldn't understand the person at all and she said she couldnt issue a refund because the item I supposedly "purchased," which I did not, was my responsibility. It might have been a communication error, so before I report Microsoft to the attorney general for basically stealing money from me, I want to email them my complaint and maybe get someone to reply who understands English. But the problem is, I can't find a customer support email address on their website. I can find tech support numbers, but I don't want to go through that again. Does anybody know a Microsoft customer service email address? thanks.

1. If you purchased online, it was probably with a credit card so call your credit card co. and contest
the charge.

2. It was debit.

My xbox 360 has my debit card information stored inside of it as I used it to download Geometery wars a few months ago. I dont think I can cancel purchases with debit cards. Microsoft had some reported networking glitches a few weeks ago in their service, and apparently it "purchased" something for me with my debit during that period, and now they wont refund my money. Its freaking pathetic. Im never buying another xbox.

6. Why not just say you need someone who speaks American?
When you get someone who's accent is difficult for you or who's English skills are challenged, then just say so and ask for someone better able to communicate with you. Even amongst Americans where English is their only language I sometimes get someone on the phone with a heavy regional accent that I cannot understand over the phone, or a speech style that makes it difficult to understand them over the phone.

Just say so directly and ask if there is someone else, or a supervisor with better English skills. Especially, when it concerns tech support in another country, I usually do just fine, but on the times when communication was too difficult to accomplish what needed done I have never had a tech agent refuse to transfer me. It sometimes takes a couple of tries but persistence does pay off.
