Surfed over to buzzflash.com tonight for a little fresh air and sanity
Here's the first thing I saw. Sure rang true for me.

The Swift Boats Are Circling Again

Democrats need to take a breath and realize what's happening. We also have to think before we speak or email or act, so that we don't shoot ourselves in our collective feet. There are lots of hot-button issues out there, and the right-wing is ready to push those buttons for us. In the heat of emotion, if we forward emails and don't do our own research, we can't take those back if we change our minds later, or if we find ourselves left with a candidate who wasn’t our first choice.

The anti-Democratic forces out there are happy to take advantage of that fact. They have been pushing disinformation about our candidates for months – and for many years in the case of Hillary Clinton – hoping some of it will stick long enough to impact this election. The "vast right-wing conspiracy" that spawned the Clinton impeachment is all too skilled, well-funded, and happy to help us stop our candidates in their tracks yet again. They well know how to pit Jews against Blacks and women against men, and their pinpoint research tells them with precision which of us are in which camps. The Republicans have obstructed the Democrats in Congress, and they're fighting to derail our shot at winning the White House.

Isn't this our moment to celebrate that our African-American Democratic candidate won in Iowa on a message of hope and unity? Can't we cheer our Democratic woman who won in New Hampshire because she’s a fighter? And can we cross our fingers for our anti-corporate, anti K-Street Democratic candidate who's running a strong third and might yet win in South Carolina? While we're at it, let's thank our anti-war, anti-establishment Democratic candidate, Dennis Kucinich, who’s not afraid to bring up impeachment and the other touchy topics that the front runners have avoided. Hooray for them all.

7. Finally!!
Absolutely right, and Kos and the DU have been damn near unbearable for months now, for those of us who suspected what was really afoot.

Take a look at my sig line, folks. The man knows whereof he speaks, and it's truer now than ever.

Oh yeah--K & R!
