I think DUers ought to be careful -
This is a subject line on the Greatest Threads (as I write) -

WaPo: How Hillary Stole NH From Obama: Illegally Challenged Obama Observers, Disrupting GOTV!!!!!!!

This is the actual headline for the article in the Washington Post -

Gone From the Granite State, But Tactics Not Forgotten
By Alec MacGillis

Who should be careful?

The originator - there is no 'steal' in the article.

The reader - I really believed I was reading the Washington Post headline when I read the Greatest Thread. I guess I read the first phrase and I didn't notice all the exclamation marks which the WP would not have used. Since I didn't link to the WP until after I read most of the thread, I was really ticked.

What is wrong here?

To start the subject line was 'WaPo:' makes is appear as though it is the real WP headline.

A rant because I spent too much time looking for the theft. The subject line was excessively emotional. Let's hope that that kind of emotion is devoted to Diebold machines.

I am not defending Clinton or siding with the Obama followers. I was taken in and it is my own fault - partly, not entirely. I never want to criticize how people write, but I think it provided a wrong and an inaccurate message.

To repeat - a rant for a little more calm and truth in presentation.

1. Emotional headlines get more views...

I've noticed a lot of folks reply more to the subject line than they will the actual content of the post.

2. The attention span of the 'average' DUer is getting shorter than the Subject line, too.

4. Funny how the republicans voted in the same location as the Democrats
and not a peep out of them regarding any disruption. Most time, there is either a room dividing the parties or they are on opposite sides of a gym or auditorium.

Not a peep out of the republican and their poll watchers were there as well....no noted disruption or concern. Now, you know a republican can't keep their mouth shut when a Democrat farts in a room so I'm really skeptical of this entire issue.

I think the Obama Camp is rotten to the core myself. There is some serious money behind this camp.

7. actually, when you say most the time, it's not really true.
In your location they may do it.

In mine, we're all in the same room. We're given a ballot. And we're given a booth. I think it's a mistake to categorize all of them because of what you know. Having not visited voting booths across the country, we'll never know what is accurate.

8. The U.S. national media is all now like The National Enquirer and The Star.
What a F waste they are, really.
